Hazard Determined Translucent Top 5 Nomination Mens FIFA Player 2016

Last season, Hazard experiencing a difficult period in his football career due to a series of injuries. The 25-year-old player is only able to create six goals and eight assists from 43 appearances for the Blues in all competitions.

However, Hazard managed to improve his performance this season. Former retainer Lille had scored seven goals in 14 appearances for Chelsea in all competitions.

"I did not play well last season. For me it is a normal thing when it is not in the list of best players at the time. However, I want to come back to play well and give everything in order to get into the nomination," said Hazard.

World Football Federation (FIFA) on Friday (04/11/2016) announced the 23 names nominated for FIFA Player Mens 2016. Later, 23 names will be eliminated until only five players. Announcement of winners FIFA Mens Player 2016 will take place on January 9, 2017.

"I do not want to be on the list of the 23 best players. At the moment, I just want to be in the top five. I want to reach that level," said the Belgian player.

Eden Hazard will compete with players from various European giants, including Real Madrid and Barcelona. Los Blancos sent five representatives to the FIFA event Mens Player in 2016, namely Gareth Bale, Toni Kroos, Luka Modric, Sergio Ramos and Cristiano Ronaldo. Meanwhile, Barcelona was represented by Andres Iniesta, Lionel Messi, Neymar and Luis Suarez.
